Grimspace - Ann Aguirre I just loved this book! It's so fast-moving, almost break-neck-paced, really, but none of the deeper detail is sacrificed. I adored ALL the characters, Sirantha especially (of course). They're all so distinctive, even the douche-y ex.

Imaginative, fun, gut-wrenching, and really funny at times. I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually follow all the tech-speak. I don't usually read sci-fi because I don't like feeling lost in technology or having to work so hard to understand what's happening. The tech here isn't simple, but it's not horrifically complex, either, and Aguirre handles it deftly.

Can't say enough how much I loved it! Can't wait to start the second one.
