The Bloodletter's Daughter (A Novel of Old Bohemia) - Linda Lafferty I enjoyed this book quite a lot. Going in, I had no idea it was based on real people (I'm woefully lacking in my historical knowledge) but that added a layer of fascination for me, once I finished it. I "checked it out" from the Kindle lending library, and actually ended up buying it when I was about half-way through.

It's not the best writing I've ever read, and the story gets a bit muddled at times, but for the most part I really liked it. I would have liked more depth and information about most of the characters, and a lot more exploration of the different relationships (and again, the writing isn't always stellar), but yeah, overall, a fun read.
