I...um...I think I like the show better than the book. That is, I liked the book ok (can't call it the most well-written book I've ever read, for sure), but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It's kinda fun, definitely escapist, and I don't care about anyone yet. There were more than a few glaringly cheesy phrases, but I didn't hate it. Well, that's not fair. I found it pretty entertaining. But I didn't love it. I'll read the next one.
